Chapter 1.
Meet Sasha Pieterse. A 17 years old witch coming from a very powerful origin. When Sasha was only 10 years old, her parents were murdered and the killer was never found. Since then Sasha lived with her grandma until one day, when she was coming back from school, she found her grandma murdered. In the middle of the kitchen, with blood spilled all over the place. The killer is believed to be an original vampire from the Le'roux family.
Sasha's PoV
I was sitting on my couch, watching TV, but my mind was far away from my favourite TV series. I was new in town. I barely was settled in my new house. I had to leave my friends in London and my hearth was breaking at the thought that they are so far away. I really miss them. My friends are the only thing I have left and they are like a family to me.
It was time to distract myself a bit. Getting up from the couch I headed to the fridge, but half way through I realized that I still haven't bought any groceries since I only moved in yesterday. Oh well I guess I'll have to go to the grocery store.
Lazily I went to my bedroom. Unpacking some bags I decided to wear tight black jeans with red top. Its a little bit too much for me considering the heels I'll be wearing, but what so ever. Just as slowly I went downstairs and grabbed my phone from the coffee table, keys and purse.
It was already getting dark. I could see the sun slowly was hiding behind the shadows of the trees, creating a beautiful sunset. The scene in front of me made me stop for a second and think about the way we would usually have a bonfire in London and watch the sunset. "I'll be back soon" I whisper quietly, still looking at the sky.
I didn't have a car yet, so I guess I was walking to the store. Maybe wearing heels wasn't the greatest Idea I ever had.
I was just by sweets stand, I just couldn't help my addiction to chocolate, when a sleek blond woman walked to me. A vampire.
"Witches are not very respected in this town" she hissed in my ear. What did she just say? With a swift movement of my hand I had her on the ground.
"I don't think you're in position to say than." I whispered sweetly in her ear.
So an original vampire. Lucky one I am, arent I? On my first day here and I already got myself into trouble.
I easily dealt with vampires before I came into Mystic Falls with the only difference that now I have better control on my powers. I always have despised vampires. Before and after my whole family was killed by one of them.
One thing have always entertained me. Vampires are so naive. They think Im just a little witch that can't do anything. Well they guessed wrong. Okay, okay Im not that badass, but I can handle an original vampire.
It's a new town so I don't want all the attention on my. Especially from originals. Slowly I walk to the door and just when I think It's over. Well It's not.
The vampire grabs my hair and pulls my head backwards exposing my neck. She sweetly smiles, showing the tips of her fangs.
Im done with the kindness. Without hesitation I grab her hand and flip her over onto the ground. I step on her chest, pressing her to the ground.
"Don't you dare touch me again" I threaten her and start walking away.
I stop for a moment turning back to her. "Oh, where are my manners. I'm Sasha. Sasha Pieterse" and witb that I walk out of the store. She better remember that name.
Its surprising that no one even bothered to look what's happening like it's nothing unusual. It really is weird town I guess.
I was walking away slowly, challenging her to do something. I need some distraction and I guess that will do.
I can hear how she gets out of the store and lights a cigarette. "You are pretty dumb to be in this town. Its no place for witches" she says with soft voice still walking behind me. Surprisingly soft.
I stopped for a moment looking at her. "I have a reason to be here, but I don't plan staying for long" That's the truth. Once I'm done with my job I can go back to London and continue with my life.
"I'm Isabell. Isabell McQueen." she said half-smiling. I've heard that name before but I couldn't put my finger on it.
"It's nice to meet you." I returned half-smiling.
"So what are you doing in this town?" she asks, while still smoking her cigarette.
"I am after someone."
"Is that so?"
"Pretty much, yeah."
Isabell's PoV
That girl made some impression. I can count on my hand the people who dared to stand up against me and she's definitely one of them. And obviously she's not that obnoxious. I can't decide either to just leave her and walk away or help her. She gives me that strange familiar feeling and I dont know where it comes from, because obviously she's a witch. One of the things I hate the most. I just cant stand the way the just walk around, thinking they are invincible. Well newsflash they are not. There is a reason why they are mortal unlike us, the originals.
But still this town is no place for witches. Here witches are the most disrespected and hated creatures. I don't think she knows what she got herself into by coming here. A lot of people already know about her presence.
"Want some help?" I ask her, the words leaving my mouth before I can even think.
